Designer Profile
Fashion designer Bal Govind (vinay) was born in kapilvastu (Nepal) in 1981 the birth place of Lord Buddha. He did graduation in ‘Commerce’ (Lucknow University) and ‘Software Development’ from Tata Infotech and then planned for MBA but finally he changed his track and went for Fashion designing to Bangalore in “B.sc. in fashion and apparel design” from ‘Bangalore University’ in 2004. During his college days he was “rewarded” by various awards as a “costume designer, accessories designer” in many fashion competitions, he did many fashion shows too at college level and professional level and choreographed many fashion shows. In ‘2006’ he got the certificate in Fashion photography from Cinema and TV Films Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation in “fashion photography and film making”. In 2007, He got the “Best International student award” out of 5500 student from 36 countries and in 2007 only he completed his degree in fashion designing. He then worked in a garment company as a “fashion designer” in Bangalore “Supreme overseas pvt ltd” after working one and half year he left Bangalore and came to Delhi. After few months working in Delhi, he came back to his own country Nepal in 2009.
After spending few months in Kathmandu (Nepal) he and his few friends created an event company “House of Fashion Design and Event Management Pvt ltd” in 2010 after establishing the company, company did few events too in Kathmandu (Nepal). And now finally Fashion Designer Bal Govind (Vinay) is running his own fashion Brand “SIYA” the designers house. Now, Bal Govind (vinay) is playing a role of “Creative Director” in his own company along with other side he is running his own Fashion Brand “SIYA” the designers house (Boutique) in Kathmandu (Nepal).

Fashion
Every day, people wake up and wonder what they are going to wear. The suit and tie? The fast-food smock? Do we ever really think about why we go to all this trouble, or are we clueless? Why does fashion exist? People use fashion to present themselves to the public eye. What we wear is an image of what we want the world to see.
History
Fashion has evolved over the centuries. In cultures that wear few clothes, body paint is used as a substitute. In some cultures, the powerful decide what everyone wears. They use laws to mark off different segments of society from each other.
Fashion Taste
Today we tend to dress based on the way clothes appeal to our personal taste. If we like it, we like it. If we don't, we don't. We chose our style to express our personality. It's nice to be cool and to dress with the times. But let's be serious, what's cool now is probably going to look silly in a few years.
